Love of my Life

It is with a broken heart I must inform all of Patti’s followers that she passed away Monday, October 15th at 1:30 pm at home in my arms. I’m numb now but may be capable of writing more later. She will be missed greatly!!! Her true love for life and beyond. Richard Redd

  1. Oh Dear God, I am so sorry Richard. Thank you for letting us know.
It is amazing to me how we make friends online, and even though we never meet in person, their loss is heartbreaking. Missing their voice here on line leaves a void in our hearts. Patti was so positive, even in her pain.
May God comfort you, hold you in his arms and fill you with his peace.
You are in my prayers Richard.

  3. The deans of spoken of your loss, and in our lives, when someone passes, we all lose a piece of our hearts. My prayers are with you and your family dear brother! May the Lord lift you up in this special time of need! Much love always to you!

  4. RIP, dear, dear Patti.

It was my privilege to be Patti’s cousin. Although we had drifted apart for many years, we recently reconnected via the miracle of the internet. I’m infinitely grateful that we were able to get together in person last summer. Richard, it was so obvious that you were indeed the well-deserving love of Patti’s life–the sun around which her planet orbited. One of her recurring themes appeared to be an overwhelming terror at the possibility of ever living “life without Richard.” The two of you were blessed with a beautiful friendship as well as a great love in each other, and I can only imagine your pain. Our thoughts, hugs and prayers are with you.

  5. Richard
Jan and i are so sorry to hear this news Patti and i had just emailed each other the week before. you two have been an inspiration to Jan and I not only in the professional world but life itself. I know your pains have been enormous and now even though Patti has to suffer no more you have a added pain to deal with. What a great woman and associate Patti was and even more what a great friend. you will be in our thoughts and prayers and i will call you next week to give you a little time. you should have my email and phone number if you want to get in touch with me.

  6. I am so sorry to hear about this. Just reading her blog and chatting with her twice I knew she was a wonderful warm hearted and positive person and I hope you can find some peace in life.

  7. Sis:

You will be greatly missed. My only wish is that we could have had more time together as adults.

I know, health wise, these past few years have been pure hell for you and Richard.
On some level, I can take a little comfort in knowing that your suffering is finished.

Richard, it was so great to be able to be with you and Patti last December at our family reunion. I was also really looking forward to visit you two later on this winter. I guess now, that will not be a possibility .

Richard, please contact me if there is anything I can do or help you with. I know this a real tough time. If you’re up to it, call me, if it’s just to talk for a few minutes.

  9. Patti will always remain a very special person to cross my life path, just as Richard is. My only consolation is that she’s not suffering anymore. It is a very very small consolation.
